Dear High Schooler.

Welcome to my guide for making it out alive: High School.

It's easy to grow up.

Im totally kidding.
It's fucking hard.

At a time when our minds crave fun and happiness, we are forced to stare at books and screens until our eyes bleed. Boys are still jerks, girls are bitchy-er than ever and parents are tossing between keeping you a kid or letting you grow up.

And yeah sure, Im 17.
But i've been through a lot. Friends change, prioritises become more evolved and suddenly the people you played Barbie's with, just don't get you anymore.

So i wanna share my story, of triumph, of truth.

I managed to fight off the bullies, backstabbers, liars and heartbreakers. Finished my exams with great grades and recommendations. Planned for my many years after high school, and made friends for life.

So if you want to come on this journey with me to find out how i did it. Keep reading.

Love Dakota.
