Song of the Seasons: Why? (excerpt)

This short story was written for Janine Spendlove's War of the Seasons trilogy. She had guest authors write tales set in Aileonora. I chose to write about Eachan and Eirnin's back story. The story has spoilers, so wait until you've read at least through Book 2! The story was published in War of the Seasons: The Heart. What follows is an excerpt and author's note.
