I lifted my arms and closed my eyes, as I let myself fall into the waters.
My body sank drastically.
I saw nothing but darkness as the water filled my lungs, I knew what awaited me, Lucifers arms of sorrow.
My eyes held no more weight and closed awaiting for what was to come next.

I was too focused on his eyes through my tear-filled gaze. "Did someone do this to you?" His voice had an edge of hardness to it now, like a diamond with a sharp edge. I could only nod. He fell silent for a few seconds, letting the swelling rain be the only sound between us, before he reached out slowly and scooped me into his arms and lifted me up easily. "Don't be afraid, okay? I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance.
