Skye wanted to see something beautiful
Tori wanted to impress her friends
Z didn't wanna be there
Dillion changed his mind
Shane didn't want anything to change
The first solar storm for a thousand years arrives, only visible in Norfolk, astronema woods.
Despite being warned by everyone not to risk it, Skye Hillard convinces her friends to dare a visit during the solar storm.
Sitting, staring into the sun, Skye has never felt so alive, the reflection of the Suns light cascading across the woods.
But how were they to know, that night, would change everything
The gift the storm had given them
But was it really a gift ...
The sun rises on a new dawn, yet few of us realize the debt we owe to those responsible for this, to those who dwell among us, anonymous, seemingly ordinary, who destiny brought together to repair, to heal, to save us from ourselves, and they're still out there among us, in the shadows, in the light, we pass them on the street without a glance, never suspecting, never knowing. Do they even know yet? That they are bound together by a common purpose? A glaring reality, to be extraordinary, and when destiny does anoint them, how do they hide from it?
How long can they dwell in the shadows before fate draws them out into the light?
And how will they know what awaits them when it does?
Blurb for chapter 6 onwards
"Just because you expect us to be heroes, doesn't mean we have to"
The group of friends never knew that a simple night at the woods would change there life forever
Now they know what they are, but what could they become?
With the unstable June by there side, and unknown threat with unseen objectives and secret powers, do they even stand a chance?
Will they have to step into the darkness, to save the light...
"Meeting you.. it was my destiny."

(excerpt from chapter iii - diligence)
"Do you know anypony that you immediately clicked with? Somepony you easily developed an unbreakable bond with," Destiny asked, trying not to sound desperate.
"Just Ruby and Moony," Sparkling Swirl answered, seeming confused. "Why? Does that part matter?"
"Yes, that's the most important part," Destiny retorted. "I discovered recently, based on my mother's discarded journals, that I represent the Virtue of Diligence. Upon further research, I discovered that all Seven Virtues will click instantly and form an unbreakable bond upon meeting."
"I did just instantly trust you," Moonstar said, his voice now laced with a 'buggy' effect. It was as if a fly was buzzing and had a voice. Destiny wasn't disturbed.
"That's my point," Destiny said, looking at Star. "I've known Star since I was a colt, and I've always trusted him no matter way."
"Also could've been because I was the only pony you knew, Young Master," Star said, his horn lighting a crimson red. "Then again, you struggled to trust any other servant, so I can guess why you think I'm a Virtue."
