Caroline Rogers lost her mum two years ago and her father was sent to jail when she was just seven. She has spent the last two years with her aunt and uncle, Claire and Richard. They have decided to move across Canada to a small town called Merrickville near Ottawa.

She had previously gotten into fights and skipped class. A lot.

She needs to leave her bad habits behind in Calgary.

She made new friends, but that didn't end well.

The one thing that helps her after her friendship falls apart is a record store and a kind soul.

What will happen?

Find out in my book!

Later,
Gabe

UPDATE:
Hey there, I'm probably rewriting The Records That Saved The New Me and changing quite a bit, but I'll keep this version up for now. (I'm still going to finish this one because I hate it when people disappear and never finish a book.) Then I'll be posting an edited, finished version as another book, but I'll keep some of the same elements.

I didn't really have a vision when I started writing it, but now I have a better idea of what to write for it. I'll actually plan it out this time. Sorry for being so indecisive and taking forever to update.

I've changed a lot as a person and a writer since I started writing on here.

I appreciate you.

Thanks.

Gabe.

P.S. DON'T STEAL MY IDEA. IF YOU THINK I STOLE YOUR IDEA, I DON'T KNOW ABOUT IT. THANKS.

"𝔼𝕍𝔼ℝ𝕐 𝔽𝔸𝕄𝕀𝕃𝕐 ℍ𝔸𝕊 𝕊𝔼ℂℝ𝔼𝕋𝕊" - - - "My name is Hazel, but most people call me Ze. I'm from Melbourne, and love Taylor Swift." I cringe at my own words, and think back to a time where Fletcher was one of the only people calling me Ze. "Does anyone have questions for Miss. Bolivi?" Fletcher asks, and I hate the way my father's last name sounds on his lips. Lots of students raise their hands, and I feel overwhelmed. People actually want to learn something about me? "Yes, Miss. Abbott. Ask away," Fletcher says to one of the girls who is seated at a table at the front of the class, with other kids who all look bitchy like her. "Are you related to the Bolivi brothers?" Her disgustingly sweet voice pukes out. "My last name is Bailey," I say coldly, hating how that was her only query about me. - - - Hazel Bailey. She's your typical Australian teenage girl. From going out with friends every Friday night, to crushing on university boys. But what happens when this seemingly normal girl experiences the loss of her mother? Fearing that she's going to go into foster care, Hazel begins to stress, but she quickly discovers that she's not going to go into the system. Instead, her five older brothers have gained custody of her. The same five older brothers she never knew existed. Something about them seems off, and Hazel can't help acting wary. But they're not the only ones with secrets. Join Hazel in a journey of lies, love, attachment, and humor.

This isn't the story of how the city girl fell for the cowboy, oh no, this story was how the city boy fell for the home grown country girl. She knew it wasn't her child, but the sibling of her only love Lucas. She was going to adopt that child and make a real home for her. Only she didn't know what a fight that would be. Caleb was an attorney from the big city of Detroit. He had been assigned to a case that brought him down to the sunny land of Georgia, with the heat and stetson hat fashion. Not knowing what all it would contain he was shocked to be faced with a fierce woman. Independent. A good head on her shoulders. Harper was all he could have ever wanted. He was struck with what he would have sworn to be lightning and wanted to know what made her tick under that gorgeously tanned skin. But they were from two different worlds. And he had a lot to learn if he was going to win over the country girl. Especially with him representing her ex-husband.
