Mia James is a carefree and wild, bad ass. She wasn't always, but, you know, people hurt people and then they change. When someone steps back into her life, you can tell her horrid past and memories aren't too far behind.

She drinks, she smokes, she doesn't play by the rules. Why? Because she doesn't feel like doing anything else will help her leave everything behind. When her sister died, and her parents began to neglect her, she learned that she didn't need anyone to fix her, she just needed to fix herself, it just may be different than what others call fixing.

One day, she gets a list of things to do. When Mia completed that list, she sent her life on repeat, doing everything she did before she got it. But then there's another list, and after that, another. Mia begins to feel the way she did before she left her old town; scared and wary. And she hates it.

Will she complete her next list? Or will she realize that she can't keep up any longer?

Tyler and Mia have been best friends since elementary school. They've been through a lot together, including giving each other their first kiss and Mia losing her virginity to him. That night changes everything and Mia finds herself struggling to maintain their friendship. She tries to move on but Tyler is always there. He doesn't want to be with her but he doesn't want anyone else to be either. Throughout her struggle, Mia learns more about herself and meets many new people. But will any of that matter if she loses her best friend? "What is wrong with you?" Mia asks in disbelief. Tyler sighs, crossing his arms over his chest. "I don't do relationships. You know that," he replies, shrugging slightly. Mia contemplates what to do. She has two choices: 1.) Walk away and never look back, meaning she'd lose him. Or 2.) Forget anything ever happened and allow him to continue walking all over her, meaning she wouldn't lose him. Either way, she'd be the one getting hurt. "Then I don't 'do' this friendship anymore. Goodbye, Tyler." {The first 5 chapters are published on Wattpad as a preview. The story is 100% complete & published on another platform (more info in my bio). Alone, Abandoned, Depressed. Mia is living a hard life. Everyone who comes into her life, leaves. Nice people end up leaving her and the people who treat Mia "nicely" stay in her life and make her life a living hell. Mia goes home after school everyday and steps into the imaginary world she created. But will Mia become independent and not use her imagination every time she gets upset, or will she stay in her corner and isolate herself from reality?
