The Immortales Project was once an experiment to test the limits of human genetics, twisting the former human into new genetically modified individuals called Immortales. Enhanced with superior speed, strength and intelligence, these new individuals have faulted the experiment, becoming too powerful to be contained in a lab much longer and have escaped and taken the world from the human's grasp.
And that is how, two decades later, destruction and rebuilding is very evident. The Space Needle points towards the sky from miles under Puget Sound, the Great Wall of China is now six feet under and many cities were destroyed. Meanwhile in the golden capitals of the Immortales, humans are forced to be labor workers as the Immortales reside in gleaming mansions.
But in the ruined cities of the west lie rumors of a rebellion plotting to overthrow the Immortales. Humans, escaped from the golden cities of the East have formed an encampment in the ruined cities of the West.
That is where our story falls into place.
Young Crimson Tamara Silvestre has been raised to believe that all the Immortales are terrible and heartless creatures. Raised in the ruins of Los Angeles, her father has been killed by the Immortales while she is raised to be a fearless warrior, ready to combat the Immortales.
Teenager Castell Romulus Dante is one of the Immortales, however, he has been orphaned and now lies in the care of the One-Legged Man, looting and causing trouble to survive. He too has a vendetta against the Immortales, as they killed his parents as well.
When Castell, on one of his new missions, discovers the rebellion in Los Angeles, he seeks to help. Aided by Alastair, the leader of the rebellion who has one eye and grudgingly helped by Crimson, together, they plan to overthrow the corrupt Immortales.
Or die trying in the process.

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. With Iron Guard, the resistance outside the walls, hunting the Purebloods too, will the trial save human race before it's too late? #3 in #dystopianfuture (27.06.2020)

I recommend reading the first two parts before this! After only two weeks into the anthro takeover, things have gone right and wrong on both sides. Emma, Cody, Eric, and many more human and engine survivors have fought to escape to a safe haven within the Biltmore estate and village in North Carolina. However, with tension between new and old faces slowly arising, everyone will inevitably have to face the war in order to survive, or at least make it out while staying themselves, physically and mentally. Meanwhile, on the opposite side, June and her friends and family just fighting to stay alive slowly begin to realize they're more important than they think. As not long after, they're forced back into battle to help continue their part in bringing about the end of the human race. However, many don't realize at first that they have more in common than they think. All they know is that many of those they've been acquainted with will likely make it out alive or as themselves. Now it's up to them to partner with their new and old friends and equate one another as allies against powerful forces in order to protect themselves, and all they ever cared about before it's too late. A/N: Guys plz, this story is discontinued on this account. 😭😭 So many people are still putting it in their reading lists that I feel bad. I'm rewriting it on another account, the account is @-_-lemme_sleep (I think) I commented on the last chapter of this story with it so if you just click on the comments on the last chapter you'll see that account. And I'm rewriting it so please red from the beginning. My name is Min Ae-ri Shin ... Or it was that. One day as I was taking a bus home from my college as usual while playing an otome game on my phone since I was regularly one of the last few people to get off the bus an... An incident happened which lead me to an early death. If this had happened a few years ago I would have probably celebrated this. However, since the universe just hates me so much It decided to take me when I was finally free from one of my greatest chains. My "family". But that didn't even compare to what happened next... I thought that after dying I would finally be set free of this crappy world, but instead... I just got transmigrated into a worse one. As the villainess. Now I'm stuck in this damn game trying to get one of the many interests who were supposed to ruin my life as a villainess to kill me so that I could possibly return back to my original world whether it was in my original body or by reincarnation since this damn game wouldn't let me die on my own. Now the question was will I be able to somehow return back to my original world or chained to my dreadful fate as the villainess?

Once upon a time there was a world, much like our own. This world is gone. The machinations and wars of man saw to every manner of apocalypse. What was left is a world as nightmarish as it is fantastical. Gunslingers and swordsmen ply the same trade. Science, chemistry and magic are indistinguishable from one another. The monsters prey on all, but the true villains will always be human. Humans who have walled other humans in to the most violent part of The Husken Earth, The Wastelands. The Immortal Red Eyed Man sits atop this wall and uses his airships to drop experimental drugs into The Wasteland. Both mutants and parasites live under the shadow of the Abominations birthed. Monsters and men fear their brothers and sisters who fall prey to the allure of Elysium. It's hard to tell what is more addictive, the magical drug itself or the power it promises. {End Blurb} [Lore] Only one wall was ever built to protect the non-cannibalistic mutants of the Grey Coast and the inhabitants of Valoria from the true Wastelands; it has fallen. The remaining warriors built a great defense to fill the gap in the frontline wall. This outpost was overrun and the warriors that defended it became too few. They did the best they could and many died in the battles to keep the True Wastelands at bay. Survivers became little more than wanderers, sell swords and try hard defenders of the inhabited wastes. This is the tale of one such wanderer and his mission to unite the Wastelands against the abominations created from Elysium. This is the tale of The Wandering King and his sadistic counterpart.
