16 year old Pheonix Heatherheart is just a regular small town girl who had a talent for music ever since she was 5. She loved playing the violin mostly. By the age of 12 she started making songs that had an eery undertone. The music seemed to... Control her. She was unresponsive while playing her music, and her parents became so spooked, that by the age of thirteen, they kicked their daughter out. Her parents were mysteriously murdered four days after. Investigators could see that the evidence was watery shoe prints and blood all over. The blood was from her parents, but the bodies were no where to be found. She now lives with her Aunt Addie, who is an alcoholic yet she is very religious. Pheonix's music seemed to control her. Addie assumed that she was a puppet of a demon. She hated Pheonix. But she soon grew to love her. One day they get an unexpected visitor at a bad time. But the visitor is an evil boy who kidnaps Addie. She goes through hell and back with Ben and the demon.
