Hi, my name is Mystique. I live in a world of poverty and this is the year of 2209. World War 3 struck and lasted for about 10 years, after the war or "The Greatest War" as some people may call it, there was extreme damage done. The world tried to pick itself up but it only got worse and eventually the lives of people rich and poor got worse by the days. Starvation was a popular occurrence and so was dehydration. Rebels kicked in shortly after the war and world leaders and politicians were kicked out. This is my story.

Stray Humans by AlphaKitten1974
47 parts Ongoing
It's been almost a hundred years since Earth's civilizations fell, leaving only ruins and memories. Long before the collapse, they began taking humans, but now, everyone knows who they are and they fear them. The few who manage to return from their captivity tell stories of how these creatures treat humans like animals or children, tending to them like pets or slaves. Most survivors live in hidden cities, avoiding the ancient ruined cities at all costs. But not Jace and his crew. As a group of Stray Humans, they've made the decaying cities their home, roaming the forgotten streets, never staying in one place for long, and bringing all their skills to the table. They are a family, working together to make sure those things, Aliens, never take another human as long as they are near. When the aliens of A.C.R. (Animal Care and Rescue) find a new group of humans wandering the ruins of a large city, they think it will be an easy capture. But they soon learn that these particular humans have more willpower than most. They dodge every trap, disappear around every bend, and even manage to take some of the already captured humans with them. The aliens pity these "little creatures"-they just don't want to leave their home, but Earth is falling apart at the seams, and they are determined to take the stubborn little humans to the safety of one of the mother planets. No matter the cost. Warning - This story may have -Self harm -Rape -Abuse -Suicidal thoughts and actions -Violence and gore -Uncomfortable scenes (If this isn't your first alien pet book, you know what I'm talking about)

My life was supposed to be normal. You're born, raised by good parents, go to school, make friends, graduate, get a job. You create fun memories, find the love of your life, get married, start a family, grow old, and eventually, you breathe your last. That's what life was supposed to be like for me. But instead, my life turned out to be the opposite of normal. And so it was for Chiara, Blake, Jake, Rowan, Nova, and Dijon. To tell our story, we need to go all the way back to the beginning. Before we were even born. It all started 30 years ago. April 5, 2003. a class got into an accident and when the survivors woke up, they realized something was wrong. they got powers , they got taken by scientist who started calling them the hollows. It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.

100 years ago during a solar eclipse a strange light fell to the earth. No one knows if that light fell from the heavens all that is known is destruction shortly followed. On that day humanity found itself at the mercy of a deadly virus. The world was brought crumbling to its knees. The surviving humans found refuge from the virus in vaults made originally for containment of human experiments. This virus sent the world into an apocalyptic stone age. 50 years after the virus humans around the globe began to develop anomalies in their bodies causing strange mutations. Those who had been affected by this mutation were no longer recognizable. They were monsters rampaging through the devastated world. That is until a strange case where a woman was infected but did not mutate. She was thought to have been the cure. Little did they know she was actually the cause for the world we live in today. That's right she was the first, Tina Primrose, the virus eventually seemed to died off as the descendants of Tina became hunters who'd hunter their brethren with the abilities gifted to them through the blood of Tina Primrose. Then there was the war between the remaining humans and those monsters. Naturally the humans won with our aid. Life was fine as we rebuilt the world until the day of our betrayal. The new government formed by the humans banished us from this world and we were hunted down. The last surviving members of the Primrose bloodline were two siblings. A Boy named Dakota Isaragi Primrose and his sister formed a group known as L.U.N.A. An Organization dedicated to those who have been born with the cursed bloodlines to find solace. The government attacked the organization but to save his brethren Dakota struck a deal with the Government to spar the lives of the members of the organization if he turned himself over to the government. Sadly, he was also betrayed. His brethren slain and his memory wiped the government believed they'd won but, the battles only just begun.

People always say every life should be cherished. That every single one of them is equally fragile and precious. Like a beautiful glass sculpture or the blossoming flowers in spring. But the thing is, everyone's definition of beautiful is different. Some people prefer roses over orchids. Some of them like sculptures of people whereas others like sculptures of animals. And so there are times when even the most beautiful sculpture gets thrown away like trash or forgotten somewhere because they found one that's prettier. The beautiful flowers that bloomed in spring will wither away and eventually become nothing but dust. There are times when a sculpture in itself could be really beautiful but a tiny flaw will make people deem it as a "mistake". The flowers that are left to wither away just because they miss a leave, or because they aren't the right size or the right colour. So you see that saying about every life being equally precious?, yeah that only counts for the "perfect" ones. Still some of these faulty sculptures and broken flowers managed to make it into the world. They would be facing the harsh reality of this world and would have to fight to survive. Some of them would unfortunately lose this fight in the end, leaving to a faraway place in hopes to find peace and quiet. Still just being able to make it this far in this harsh world is something to be proud of, as friends and family will forever remember these brave individuals who fought hard to survive until the very end. - Kaylee de Leeuw

guys please don't read this anymore lmao i write totally differently now💋 _________________ In a future where humans are genetically modified -- 'altered' -- at the age of sixteen, the world has been, until now, a safe place. Without changing a person's personality, undergoing the Alteration perfects their appearance, IQ, and even their immunity to diseases. No human passes the age of sixteen without being Altered. In the blink of an eye, things change. An ominous message is sent out to all of those below the age of sixteen, providing precise instructions that suggest they flee. Simultaneously, a deadly virus starts to spread all about the world, attacking only the Altered -- every human over the age of sixteen. The virus eats at the modified human brain, and soon the Unaltered begin to realise that the Altered are losing their minds. Home is no longer safe. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. Set on a pristine, futuristic Earth, this is the apocalypse like you've never seen it before. (Rated mature for graphic depictions of violence and mild language.) Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. (This is not based on The 100 but there are similarities.) (Some violent themes, but other than that is entirely clean.) Please comment if you have any questions or concerns. This is a first draft so it is definitely not perfect yet.. Thank you! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Where'd you learn to do that?" I asked about the intricate knots that he had tied so swiftly. He paused. "Jail." I glared at him in shock at what had just come out of his mouth. "Seriously?" His straight face broke into a grin. "No. Boy Scouts."
