Being a hunter is never easy. Saving people, hunting things, the family business. That's what Sasha and Dominic have been raised upon. When their parents died due to a werewolf and vampire incident, the twins moved to their grandparents' house. At the age of fourteen they learned what really goes bump in the night.
When the two had just turned sixteen, a demon came to their door and told them what was to come: A creature no one had ever seen or heard of before that was banished into the core of the earth. It would rise in eight years and wreak havoc on the universe.
The twins soon forgot the omen and kept on hunting supernatural creatures. Some of the things that they had hunted, however, warned the two with their dying breaths of what was to come. The problem was, the two didn't believe it.
