A War She Does Not Love

She is intelligent, she is courageous but she is a women and that's all it takes for her to be an underling. At nineteen Indie is on the verge of entering adulthood. She has a loving family and a quaint little home in a peaceful village. But all that changes when the war starts. The Civil war has started up bloodshed. It pits neighbor against neighbor and has a brother shooting a brother. Families are darkened by death and destruction. Children are left orphaned, staring on the streets plague by devastation but what can one nineteen year old women do when her father is forced to fight for the Confederate South.
