It was in the 1600's when four unlikely men formed a formidable friendship as they shared a common dissatisfaction with progress and civilization. These men decided to furtively settle along with their wives on the mountains of Donoma away from the society. They started a community of their own and set the value of equality as their binding factor. Kimiko, Wambua, Wekesa, Rhys and Misae grew up fine and well as the daughters and sons of the four men. Rhys had secretly fallen for Misae but like any other seventeen year old boy he had been awkward in expressing this to the most adventurous and toughest girl in the village. Then came the time to observe a tradition at the village where the elder children were made to do a task and showcase their skills and knowledge to the whole community. Everything was unveiling in a usual manner until one of the elder children stirred up a commotion. The four founders of Donoma questioned the intention of the child having presented such a dangerous project. This coincided on the same night when uninvited strangers reached their blessed refuge in the mountain. The uninvited strangers would permanently dent the lives of the villagers as they wanted to take over what the community had. A struggle between the elder children and the strangers ensued and the victors were yet to be determined.

Aliana never believed in myths until the day they came to life. When the ancient Greek gods' sacred tribes reveal their existence to her, she learns her destiny is far from ordinary: she is the heir to the throne of Alphenia, a tribe charged with protecting the human world from mythical creatures. But fate is never simple and love is unpredictable; it knows no dividing lines and your other half may be hiding in the most unlikely place or even... in the face of your rival. For Aliana that is the case. When she meets Hector, the magnetic and enigmatic heir to Arenia, the rival tribe her people have battled for centuries, forbidden love and her duty to her tribe collide. What is her fate after all? Is it what she's been told or something different? Could she be walking toward Hades without even knowing?
