Skylar Houges is the 12 year-old run away. After 11 years of being locked in her room and being with the worst of role models she decides it needs to end.Since her father is a alcoholic he has had some rough nights. Even bringing up her mom means being locked in her room.her brother Matt doesn't even bother coming out of his room. Well on the night of her 12th birthday being locked up for the night , she is able to pick the lock on her window and escape the home.
