Passing Time

It's sixth period physics, and in a dreary room full of zombified kids Clara Griffith and Harper Nast are bored. Very, very bored. But Mr. Clisedale's back is turned and no one is watching... What could they do to pass these forty minutes?

This was written for my creative writing class, and I received a lot of positive commentary in there, and decided to bring it to the internet! Some background: I was inspired by elements of my own life- my friend Katie and I always have a good laugh passing little doodles back and forth in physics when things get a little slow, so I took that concept and stretched and exaggerated it to encompass the sense of camaraderie that often occurs between people in the same situation, like befriending a stranger during a test or on a flight, etc. Feedback is always welcome, and I appreciate the read.
