Isla was a misfit, but she wasn't always. She used too pride herself in being the IT girl. A life focusing all around makeup, hair, shopping and friends, though fitting in for Isla was never easy especially when strange happenings would occur whenever she was around. It wasn't until one fateful accident tore her apart had her friends really noticed. Now alone, friendless and isolated, Isla's only goal is too make it out of high school unrecognizable. But when a mesmerizingly attractive guy named Lucas turns up at Isla's school with a secret her whole world flipped upside down. Isla wasn't human and Lucas plans on bringing Isla home to fulfil a promise to his parents. Isla must decide who she wishes to become and how she wishes to rule in order to complete her destiny. With the hurdles of life, love, fear and her already determined future Isla must decide once and for all who she is before all is truly lost. will she choose to follow the path that is already paved for her? Or will Isla follow her heart even though it will lead her into chaos? Only time will tell.
