An accident leaves Alexa with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to old-fashioned Ravenswood to find some answers.

At first the people of Ravenswood are Quiet and Introverted. She is intrigued by the curiously articulate detective, Tom Sandler. However, after he introduces her to his world of trageties, Alexa slowly finds herself drawn into a web of murder, black magic and perhaps, even abduction.
