Skylar McCarthy is a blind 14 year old girl. Her brother, Emmett McCarthy, is always taking care of her. One day, she walks into the forest on accident and comes across three vampires named James, Laurent, and Victoria. They turn her into a vampire but she is still blind. She does not know what do so she stays with them. Many decades later, she finds herself in Forks, Washington. She finds out her brother is alive and Jasper finds interest in her. What would happen if she had to choose between her brother and the people who helped her in her early years as a vampire? When she realizes that Jasper likes her, would she give in or would she push him away?
All the characters except Skylar belong to the creator of Twilight. Also Alice has no mate. Please don't hate. If you don't want to read the story just stop reading. Please don't post any negitive comments. Thank you.

(EDIT 2025 I STARTED THIS BOOK MY FRESHMAN YEAR SO IT WAS BAD... like awful. but never fear I'm going through and revising it so some things might change but most will stay the same) Skyler "Sky" Swan never thought her life in Forks would be this complicated. She's Bella's adopted sister, one of the few Black girls in town, and stuck with a crush on a blonde boy she knows she shouldn't want. No matter how hard she tries, she just can't get over him. Lord this is my second try at writing this I hope it doesn't flop.

Sophia Swan has lead a seemingly normal life in Forks, Washington with her father Charlie. The two of them were happy together, and nothing ever changes in such a small town, that is until her sister decides to come home. Bella manages to bring more drama with her than Sophia ever wanted to deal with, but without her, she would've never met Jasper. Again. There's something strange in the way he looks at her, like he's met her before, but she never met the Cullen's before going to high school with them, and she'd definitely remember someone like Jasper. **All credit to BrittanyHamm19 for the character of Sophia as well! I stared down at the letter in my hand. There was something so familiar about it. Yet it was different. Mysterious. Alluring. Almost Irresistible. *** After Edward leaves Bella in the woods, she is heartbroken. She is in a constant state of intense depression. That is until a letter arrived in the mail. A letter from the person she had least expected. Jasper x Bella (I don't know if you've figured it out yet, but Jasper is my favorite. He's adorable and I love him. We're just gonna do our best to ignore the fact that he fought on the Confederate side, and pretend that he has grown from the experience and is no longer racist. Now he supports the BLM movement and is deeply ashamed of his past. Yay! Character growth!) I have altered some of the characters to fit the story. Some of their actions in this book would never happen in the actual saga. Our perfect southern gentleman would never hurt Alice, we all know that ;) Warning: Lots of fluff. The timeline is a little messed up, but the events are fairly similar to the book New Moon. If this bothers you too much don't read. I hope you enjoy the book.Complete

Annabeth Swan was the older sister of Isabella Swan. Unlike her sister, Annabeth wasn't upset with the idea of moving to Forks to live with their father. Annabeth had continued to visit him every year near Christmas, unlike her sister, so she and her dad had a bond. Annabeth was different from her sister, she wasn't as awkward and clumsy. She was strong-willed and charismatic. She had a few friends at Forks High School, so when they finally went to school, it wasn't as awkward for her as it was for her little sister. As Bella got wrapped up in the Cullen family, Anna stayed away from them. The family tried to include her, because Alice knew that Anna had a mate, but Anna just wasn't one to encourage such fantasies as Bella was. It was Bella that told her about vampires, and that was when Anna's world changed forever. Hidden in the shadows was a blonde vampire. He wasn't like the Cullens, meaning he wasn't a "vegetarian." He killed for his food, but he also simply liked the fight that everyone put up before they died. It was fun, but when he entered Forks, something was different. There was a scent he just couldn't shake, and Victoria could tell that something was up with him. She and Laurent were both curious, but Victoria quickly became jealous, especially once they figured out where the scent was coming from. The scent was a human, and the human was James's mate. Victoria was not happy, and she tried to force herself closer to James, but she didn't quite get what she wanted, and she truly wanted him to feel her pain...Complete
