"Leave. You are no longer a part of this pack, Kova." her voice echoed throughout the room, uneven and broken.
"Or my life. ", her voice was soft enough for only I could hear this part.

And with that, I felt something small slap against my feet.
The toy neck lace I had bought her several weeks ago. Did she really keep that?
I could feel a lump forming in my throat instantly. Before I could change my mind, I turned on my heel and headed for the door.
" Useless she-wolf.", she scoffed coldly," I should've left you to die that day. " her stony voice was now back.
This made me freeze for a moment, like a deer in headlights.
"Oh Mira, we can finally agree on something.", I whispered lowly enough for only her ears.
Then I was out the door in a flash, with only a couple silent tears and clenching fists to support me.
