Notice: Readable as is, but slated for a massive update. Nolan Davey loves reading and the occasional stint with writing. When his crush is assigned as his lab partner in Chemistry, it's as if fate itself decided to give him a classic storybook romance. All he has to do is welcome it with open arms and use the opportunity to confess his feelings, right? Except, Nolan has never had an inkling of the desire to pursue his "crushes," choosing the world of fiction instead. Will this be the time he finally chases his own romance? Or will he stick up a metaphorical middle finger to the divine and ignore the chance? Either way, he will be forced to face his lack of knowledge in the field of love as he pursues his dream: being an author. - The first four parts are technically prologue, so if you want to skip straight to the part titled "Chapter 1" then you won't miss anything.
