This takes place 7 years after the events of Shattering Moon. Weiss is 30 years old and lives on in Ruby's name. When a giant boom is heard from outside the school she teaches she finds a small girl her wings black.  Legends that were only thought about seemed to be true. This girl had been a angel the proof being a small white feather was in the crater she had fallen into the rest of her wings were black as pitch. 

Nix Auburn a young faunus blessed at birth to be a nephalem. She upon finding Ruby Rose's message to help the cause finds it a fitting cause to lend her power. 
But not all is as it seems with those closest to her. 

Will Nix Auburn lift off the ground with her magnificent onyx wings. Or will she come plummeting to Remnant  on broken and bloody wings.
