Dear diary,
I can't keep caring about people who don't care about me. I can't keep fighting for the boy I love if I'm just going to lose every time, eventually there is going to be a point why where I want to quit but I can't. I know that in my heart I need to keep going and I know I can. Are there people who care? I can't answer that but maybe one day I'll find my place in this world.

In which I fall in love with my brother's best friend. ***** "Don't pretend like you don't feel anything." His voice is low, sending shivers down my spine. "What do you mean?" "How many romance books do you read?" Devin asks me. I shrug. "I like them," I say. I keep browsing, running my fingers along the spines. "So, you like romance then?" he asks me. I nod.
