"It's been a long life. You're the last and only hint of normalcy that I have." He whispered in her ear, burying his face in the aroma of her hair."

She felt him tense under her soft hold as soon as the words escaped his mouth. "It's not your fault," She whispered, "I may have lost my normalcy but I got something much greater in return,"

She pulled back to look at him, his eyes wandering over her own. She stared into the deep blue orbs as a smile ever so slightly etched across her face.

"You." She finished as he closed his eyes to savour her.
