Arabella is the odd one in her family. Her mother is a former principal dancer of the royal ballet school, her father a renowned musician and composer, her sisters Amy and Amanda are modern day ballet legends and her brother Anthony, an exceptional violinist. In a family of artistically adept individuals who are defined by grace and poise, Arabella sticks out like a sore thumb. She was always too clumsy for dance, can't play a violin or any other instrument to save her life and was never thin or slim like her sisters. In this narration of Arabella's life learn how one trip to Greece and the love of one boy can teach a girl to love her imperfections in a world of perfection and how being different can cause a world of change.

After a tragedy, Amila Johnson abandons her life in New York and retreats back to her birthplace of Houston. She tries to start anew but she can't get far with the skills of being an almost classically trained ballerina. Deciding to take up her friend's offer to pick up a few shifts at a coffee shop, she becomes reacquainted with a person from her past. He wants to help her but values his privacy and she doesn't like handouts. So, they formulate a contractual agreement. An agreement that's pleasurable for them both but will feelings get in the way of this act of ink and lust or will things stay professional. Luxury and sex; what's more to want?
