In this world monster that look human walk amongst us people call them ghouls they devour humans and only humans. They can't eat anything else humans can't fight them with normal means they all have strength and speed beyond a human's. They even have extra limbs called Kagune a special police force was created to stop ghouls and protect humans. The Commission of Counter Ghoul the CCG for short or as the ghouls call them Doves based off the white coats that they wear.

As they had becoming big disaster, the Soulid, that's how that'd been called, someone have been chosen to be the Choosen. To take control of them, protect the humanities and to end the disaster.
