Witches are evil incarnated and must be purged from the Empire.

Everlyn Shade, a witch hunted and on the run with her only remaining family.

Under the Martial Iralyrain Empire, magic is not only forbidden but exterminated. 

Everlyn and her brother must join a new coven in order to survive. The only coven strong enough to protect them from the witch hunters. However, they have no need for young fledgling witches. They only need useful ones. With the growing unrest within the empire, extinction of her kind is inevitable. Everlyn would soon realize that this new coven has a much larger agenda and it includes only her brother.

A Dark Knight, death incarnated. With one duty in life, to end the wicked.  Being One of the Seven, he too is cursed. For seeing the beauty in life is just out of reach. There's always a price when it comes to being stained in blood.
