Fawne Abney has a secret; and one that her brother Brant is desperately trying to crack. 
Fawne has a multitude of strange exotic plants in her care, some have never even been seen near their small village surrounding a lake a few miles south of Salem Village, Massachusetts. On top of her strange obsession, Fawne tends to disappear for hours on end with her equally-intriguing friend Taika. 

Soon enough, word comes to the village of the witch trials occurring around Massachusetts and Brant knows that his sister will be one of the first from their village to be convicted of witchcraft, although he likes to think that she isn't involved in this magic. 

Can Brant get to the bottom of what's up with her sister before Massachusetts officials come to the village looking for people to try for witchcraft, or will his sister be killed due to this seemingly false conviction?
