Maloney

A work in progress. The rough frame of the story is thought out but it is still under development.

Please note this is my fist time posting here so any advice is highly helpful! Also, english is not my native language so please excuse any spelling errors.

Maloney, a young girl in her mid twenties, dreaming of becoming a writer embarks on an adventure/quest (too cliche'?) to find her father and mother and reunite them.

Sounds pretty simple, but as with all stories, it never is. The one true problem that comes to mind though is that they are on opposite sides of the world.

The mother, located in China, is desperately fighting a disease that broke out amongst the people. As the deputy mayor of China, it is her duty to isolate those who have been cursed with the disease.

The father on the other hand, is authorizing a new-clear strike on China. As head of USA security he has led a campaign to prevent any leaks from China into the USA.
