Kara Montgomery was determined to end her junior year with a bang and have the most amazing summer ever, but the type of bang she got wasn't the one she was hoping for...
Right after the end of her junior year, Kara gets into a fatal car crash that puts her in the hospital for the rest of the summer. Kara thinks that being trapped in a hospital for the entire summer is like living in hell, until she meets Christian Waters.
Christian is a dark haired, blued eyed hottie that is in the hospital room next to hers. He doesn't talk much and is very closed off but Kara is determined to get to know him. The more she learns about Christian the more she starts to like him.
She learns that maybe what happened to her wasn't the worst thing ever and bit by bit, she starts to fall for him.
