He is then sold into slavery and works several years at a plantation. At a loss for money, his master takes him and another spiteful slave, John, towards California to strike it rich with gold. The journey to California is dangerous, and all doesn't end well. After being jumped on the trip there, something turns around Lawrence's life, for better, or worse.All Rights Reserved
