In a world ruled by the magical elite...
It's hard for a normal guy to get by. Unsavory tactics are needed to keep the belly full.
Azark sells phony potions, traveling from village to village. Mallow, his adopted adolescent Moon Giant daughter, keeps dissatisfied customers away while she yearns for a better wardrobe. The Age Day festival of Blythe draws thousands of tourists despite being in honor of a shy, smelly sorcerer. Mallow wants to shop, Azark wants to sell. But in a city as big as Blythe, Azark isn't the only con man, and the ones with their eyes on him want something more precious than gold.
Will Azark wise up in time to protect himself and Mallow? Is the unconventional heir a threat or an ally? And most importantly, will Mallow ever get cute shoes?

The Archivist's All-knowing Almanac by JanGoesWriting
40 parts Complete
There's nothing more dangerous than a book, especially in the wrong hands. And, in this world of magic, wars and an alarming number of self-serving, gratuitously selfish people, there are a lot of wrong hands to take advantage. When the world's foremost mage, Anpound Pudbatter (fresh from a magical accident that had turned him back into a teenager with all the associated raging hormones) meets Gammer Goodhiding, the world's most polite, yet indefinably terrifying witch, and Bindi, a Druid who almost has a filthy mouth, they come together to search for an object that could very well spell the end of the world as they know it. Or change it in ways they cannot imagine. From the intermittently high Mount Pintel, to the vast, unending Library, to the indeterminately located city of Lost Vagueness, where hope, and Coin, go to wallow in despair, to the world's most important, prominent, and tiniest city, the three of them must follow the magical chaos wrought by the presence of the book. And with warlords bent on conquest, thieves out for a quick score and a djinn with a mischievous attention to detail in the way, things may not go quite according to plan. And what, exactly, is the origin of the book? Only The Archivist's All-knowing Almanac knows for sure. A love-letter to the works of Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams. The Raven's Source

65 parts Complete Mature

Ever since the village of Sundres became his "home," life faired mostly normal for Shej. And why wouldn't it? It was an unbalanced world in favor of the men and their Sources, a world where Taboos...the women born with magic...would be glared upon and outcast. Growing older, marrying a Taboo, and still wanting relief from the sins he carried from his life before Sundres, Shej sets out to find freedom for his soul and safety for both himself and his wife. Just before he gives up hope that a place of freedom could even really exist, he comes face to face with a person of his past and suddenly finds himself greeting trouble around each corner he turns. Will this person help bring peace to his soul by alleviating his sins, or by bringing his death? Can Shej really find freedom?
