On a regular day at work, Aria is told that she has special powers! She can control air, therefore she is sent to a special school where she is taught how to control her power. But things get more confusing when she finds out that she is one of the special six. One person from each element is apart of this group. They are the only ones who will defeat darkness, but will Aria and the other five be able to defeat darkness? Or will darkness somehow manage to consume them, and all the hope in there life? One day, I was normal. The next I was anything but. On his thirteenth birthday, Tor Larson awakens to find himself and his bedroom covered in snow. So begins his journey as a Nix mage. Cursed with elemental abilities he cannot control, his only hope is to travel across the country to the Academy where teens with elemental abilities can be trained how to use them. The thing about Tor is that he's the only Nix elemental at his new school. The six official elements-Ignis, Terra, Nox, Lux, Aria and Aqua-each have their own unique cultures and histories to help support them. Tor has to figure everything out for himself and when he can't, he quickly makes enemies of the entire school. All he wants is to go home but he has to survive the school year first.
