Black and White. The two main shades of color.
Without the two, there will be no colors. Walang kulay ang mundo.
If one dominates the other, their balance will be destroyed. If they become imbalanced, they both could make permanent damages. Dangerous permanent damage.
So for everyone's sakes, they must stay balanced.

"Where am I?" I looked at the guy for answers. He seemed relaxed and unaware of what's happening outside.
He just looked at me with amusement,"Guess."
The heck? "Dude, I'm not kidding. Where the hell am?!"
"Hell," he repeated the word, "Ah, the irony."
I slammed my hand to my face, creating a big smack sound. It's bad enough that I got kidnapped (right before I kill myself, ugh), I also got kidnapped by a freaking psycho!
"I'm serious!"
"The King will answer you in just a matter of minutes, just you wait." He led out his right palm and green mist started to come out of it. I panicked when it started to surround me.
"What are you? What king? Is that a codename for maste---" My voice stopped and he smiled.
"King Hades will really love that attitude." Darkness.

'Idiot.' 'Douche bag.' 'Dumbass.' 'Jer---' 'WILL YOU STOP HOVERING!' His grating voice snapped me out of my rant. I glanced behind me, looking for the unfortunate person the idiot was yelling at. There was no one else in the room. I closed my eyes and rubbed them furiously. There was still no one else in the room. My eyes widened slightly as I looked at him, realization dawning on me. 'You can see me!' I gasped. It wasn't a question. It was statement of disbelief but that didn't stop the idiot from replying. 'No, I'm talking to the other stalker ghost behind you.' He muttered sarcastically. 'You can see me!' I screamed in amazement, too distracted to realize he insulted me. 'Sweet heavens! He can see me!' 'I think we've already established that baby doll.' He rolled his eyes. His condescending tone coupled with the patronizing look that had "you are crazy" written all over it was enough to snap me out of the temporary state of euphoria. __________________ Four little words. I woke to a sudden breeze invading the warmth from the heavy blanket that caressed my skin. Here, alone with my thoughts, the still, calm quiet in the atmosphere is almost painful. I feel suffocated in the clingy, static air. In quiet, still moments like these, I can almost feel Him. I don't know who "Him" is, but I can feel his presence. It's almost calming, especially on fearful, anxiety fueled nights. Usually, he was the strongest when I had a nightmare. The nightmares weren't as common now, but, right after everything happened, I was having them every night. I'd wake up and swear I was drenched in blood, my eyes and lips sticky, my nose filled with the smell of iron and fuel. After everything, that's when Him first came. From there, he just never left. I can usually sense when Him is near. Today, though, his presence is stronger. I can almost feel Him next to me, weighing down the mattress. Some nights, I roll over and imagine how he looks, envision his smile or the sparkle in his eyes. He's never there and I'm left clutching to the thought that he exists, staring into empty air. Tonight, though, I swear I can reach out and touch him. Extending my hand gently, I sweep my hand out into the darkness and meet an inexplicable warmth.
