"Hey guys! What's up with everyone today?" I say when I get to Joanne, Lisa, and Jamie. They don't even say a word to me. Oh no, have I lost my popularity over night?? What the hell is going on here?! I think. After about 10 seconds of everyone looking at each other, I take my book bag off of my left shoulder and have a seat in the group. Lisa and Jamie both look at Joanne and say, "Good luck," gets up with their book bags, and walk away leaving me and Joanne alone.

As I watch them walk away to exit the room, I realize that everyone is staring at us and the whole room is quiet. I look at my homeroom teacher and she is too busy to realize that anything is going on.
