"Hey guys! What's up with everyone today?" I say when I get to Joanne, Lisa, and Jamie. They don't even say a word to me. Oh no, have I lost my popularity over night?? What the hell is going on here?! I think. After about 10 seconds of everyone looking at each other, I take my book bag off of my left shoulder and have a seat in the group. Lisa and Jamie both look at Joanne and say, "Good luck," gets up with their book bags, and walk away leaving me and Joanne alone.
As I watch them walk away to exit the room, I realize that everyone is staring at us and the whole room is quiet. I look at my homeroom teacher and she is too busy to realize that anything is going on.

"I... Am here to see you.", I told him as I placed my hands around his neck. I could feel my heart beat getting faster but I had to keep it strong if I had to survive this scenario. "What?", Brandon asked completely startled. I leaned in more closer to him. The only good thing in this entire scene was that he wasn't pushing me back due to my creepy behaviour. "Oh... I'm not pretty or the perfect weight or have the nicest things, even though many people would think I did with my dad owning his own business. I've got some problems at home and my sisters pretty dependent on me, but what can I do, other than take it all in my stride? But I'm just me, with some added attitude. So why did the new hot teacher come for me? I'm Scott Myer, just out of uni and got a brand new job. Hopefully this job will keep me straight headed so I can have back the only thing I want from back home. I've started today and already I'm falling back into my old ways, hopefully teaching in the new school can keep me on track for once... An Unexpected Moment

Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either.
