Even in life and in and death, there is still some way that we all can express how we feel; our joy, sorrow, depression. For many of the souls that I encountered, a good majority of them seemed tortured, left in an turmoil that even after life, seemed to follow them in death. Through all the records I keep of the souls, there is a book dedicated to the traumatic turmoils they have faced; more often than not, the most traumatic experience they have dealt with(usually before or leading up to the time of their death). Through this book, the list of traumatic experiences vary and continue to grow everyday. Although given the vast amount, I have written down the few that have managed to catch my eye(and continue to do so). It seems that humans have never quite learned from their mistakes, nor made much improvements on them. Then again, I highly doubt they ever will.

Writing is a terrifying act of creation that requires us to push past the fear of being known and bare our souls to others. It gives us a glimpse into our multifaceted lives, both as writers who share their stories and as readers who bring their own unique experiences to what they read. Writing serves as a beautiful connection to each other and our world. This collection of poetry and prose is intended for those of us who feel we have lost our connections and sometimes feel a little less than human because of it.
