This man was so impolite to me that I couldn't wait to get away from him. "I apologize, your highness. I didn't mean to distract you in your private office." I stepped back getting ready to leave when a sliver of sunlight struck highlighting my face. "Wait!" He murmured and I turned back to look at him. "You're beautiful." He said breathlessly. I would have blushed, but he was so mean and rude to me that his compliment lost its impact long ago. "I need to go," I told him. "Wait." A wave of panic rose in the tide of his voice. He couldn't stand her. She was a simpering, cheerful fool. Having a position as head councilor meant nothing other than the fact that she held more power than was her due. She was the last person the King needed whispering in his ear. He was amusing. It was clear her presence unnerved him, but she couldn't help but thrill in it. When he wasn't scowling he was rather attractive. Really he was attractive even whilst scowling. There was obviously a competent advisor underneath all that menace. Hot water was poured on him from all the sides, the boy hissed and his head was tonsured. The lost Diadem has been found" He proudly showed the immaculate diamond Diadem that dazzled in the sunlight, but she shoved his hand away and approached the boy, caressed his cheeks ever so lightly, fearing that he would disappear into thin air with brimming tears, "My treasure has been found!!" *How can a thief be the crown Prince? *Given the Queen's wit and valour, can anyone fool her? *Without any interrogation, how did she declare that he is the crown Prince? *If so, who is the real thief that had stolen the Diadem?
