How I Met Your Mother is an American sitcom about Ted Mosby and how he fell in love. It all starts when his best friend, Marshall, drops the bombshell that he's going to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Lily. At that moment Ted realises that he also wants to settle down and start his own family. Helping him is his other best friend Barney, a friend with endless, sometimes outrageous opinions, a lover of suits and a foolproof way with women. When Ted meets Robin, he first thinks it is love at first sight, but destiny has something else in store. Will Ted find the love of his life?
