Maxine Smith, the all-american girl who moved in Korea for unknown matters--meets Jun Daehyun, a Korean businessman who's fired for sucking at his job. Daehyun has everything he could ever want. He is beyond gorgeous, he has all the money in the world, and is about to get married to the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. There is just one problem. Daehyun hates his life. He hates his fake friends, the annoying girls that swoon over him, and the fact that his parents are pushing him to marry a girl he just met. Will Daehyun run away and start a new life or stay and please his parents? Youngjae is a lonely 19 year old, who dropped out of college because he couldn't pay for it. He uses his smarts by working at a computer store. He moved out of his parents house as soon as he could and lives in his own apartment. As much as he is struggling, he doesn't go back to his house. Why? One tragic night, his father beats him into not speaking at all in his presence. Youngjae gives up speaking all together, but now that he is free from him, how come he can't find his voice?
