This story is about Kate's lack of love in her life, and not love as in with her family but in relationships. Kate is a junior at her high school and has her eyes set on Peter, senior and class president. Even though Kate has never spoken to him she knows him like her own hand. Even though he is not a popular guy or one of the most hot guys at school, he certainly is cute and very friendly as well as sociable. Kate's friends try to encourage her to speak to him. But what would she talk to him about? That would be weird, right? Anyway, I, Kate, am not planning to talk to Peter. At least not if I have a real reason to talk to him instead of making up an excuse.

For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Senior high school was probably one of the best moments in life, at least for certain folks. We learn the meaning of life from those periods. It only happens 3 years for the majority of people. But the moments still linger on our mind. Example? Here it goes... "They say teenage romance is awkward-but nobody said it would come with strawberry perfume, secret siblings, and a weeb girl who could read minds..." "'Are you seriously making out with your twin?!' I screamed. Dani stood frozen. Daisy ran. And somehow... this all started with candied flowers." "An absolute affection coming from absurd person? Shining Glasses included... such an irony". And many more absurdity follows... Putra, a normal student that has been dragged everywhere...
