This is a bleak portrait of a dis-United Kingdom where North is fighting South, and the rest of the world has been turned upside down. Inspired by a dream (nightmare?) my father had when I was young, I started writing this story years ago and discovered it again recently, determined to finish it. It was a normal nation meeting. They held one annually at least 3 times a year. However, this meeting ended up turning the world on their heads. Their parents, the ancients, who have long since passed on cannot stand to watch their children suffer. With this a plan is formed to help, even if only just a little. A messenger from the ancients arrive with a book and wishes of happiness for the nations. They're stuck with no way out, in a space where time is separated from reality. They only have one way to leave, and that is to read. Through this book the true personality of the nations shine through.
