The feeling of the sea's salty spray as it caresses your skin, the sting of a sunburn after being out in the waves all day, the glow of the sunset as it glistens of the ocean, the memories of rocking back and forth on your surfboard as your trying to sleep, because we spent more time in the water than we did on land.That's what my sister and i lived for until an accident threatened to take that way.

My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away.
