I am Emma and it is September 21, 2015 . I moved here to california for my dad's job my mom passed away a couple years back . In class today i was looking at this boy his name is Brandon and i just couldn't stop staring at him until i saw him looking at me and we caught eye contact and he winked at me and i just sat in my seat blushing , class was over and we walk out for lunch and he bumped into me on purpose and he stopped me and said " hey my name i brandon and your name is ?" and i answered back " I am Emma " his smiled and looked at we started to walk . The next day i was in class and i saw him with his friends in class and then from out of nowhere a girl yell my name and calls me over , so i go and she whispered in my ear " Brandon likes you and i know that for sure , because he don't look at another girl like that so you should go talk to him " and so i went over to him and Brandon looked at me and blushed a little and said " do you want to go out with me Emma i just smiled back and told him " um...i don't know should i ?" and he smiled and answered quickly " yes please i have been wanting to ask you out for awhile now " and i laughed and said " yes i will go out with you Brandon " and he started to get excited and all his friends were happy for him . Two months have passed and he told me that he was wanting to be with me forever and that someday he will marry me and i thought it was so cute so than i kissed him and it was like heaven and he was bragging to his friends the next day and then a girl came up to me and said " Brandon wants to know if you would meet him at the park after school ?" i agreed .

I slipped on my shoes, tightened my shoes. Straightened out my leotard, and fixed my hair. "Ana! Ana!" they called out. I walked on to the stage placement A1. I stood in first position looking down waiting for my que. The music started and then I started. I went on my toes shoes and danced. I dipped and many boys caught me. This act was called The Girl. I am that girl. It's about her being so beautiful that everyone falls for her. In real life I am nothing like that, In these dances I nothing but that. As they dance aggressively yet gracefully, I saw my mother in the crowd. I blinked twice to get the image out of my head because she was gone and I didn't want crazy images of ghost in my head. She was gone. One of the boys looked at me like I was crazy because I missed my cue. Crap I thought as I did it quickly to make sure everything was ok. Luckily everything was ok and got off the stage. "What the hell just happened there?" the director asked, I ignore him and walked to my locker to get a danish and some water, he followed me, "Hey girls only." I said "I'm gay." He replied "And..." Who would kill a guy? As I was proceeding with my thoughts, that hoodie guy turned his face towards me. My heart had a mini heart attack. I took turns without thinking, that guy was now following me and guess what? I took a wrong turn and which ended up being a dead end ' You are so dead' I thought. My name is Jeremiah 'Joske' Wilson and I'm the main character, (Also this is book is a crazy story of my life btw). Anyway the last time you've seen me, I had just escaped a space rock (sorry 4 the spoiler). Here's a fun fact: both me and my brother, Tom are adopted cuz for some reason my parents just couldn't have kids of their own. Originally, the wanted to pick one, my mom chose me and my dad chose my brother. They couldn't decide who to pick so they adopted both of us. And so that's how life began... This is a little obvious, but my dad was stricter on me than Tom, and since I was 2 years older than him, I got the 1st born treatment (if you know what I mean). Anyway, Japan was always my favorite place to be. In fact, that's where I had grade school (primary school). And when I got to Jr. high, my dad became the headmaster of a school in a small town in Africa, the same town I grew up in. the town was more advanced than other towns around it and slightly bigger though I still loved Japan more. Two years ago my mom disappeared just a little while after I escaped the stone before then I would always strive to get 1st place in class just to get dads attention and for him to acknowledge me, but every time he would just ask me what I wanted and I would say the same thing every time, a trip to Japan. But after mom disappeared I remember what she always said to me "be a good boy Jerry and please try your best in everything you do, do it for me". So I decided to honor her wish and always came 1st for her except sometimes when I want to make Jake happy I'll just let him take 1st for a few terms then go back to 1st. Anyway enough about me. Jake is my best friend/rival and we've been friends for a long time I met him in Japan while in grade school and we've been friends ever since. His dad is the principal of our school while my dad is the head-master of school affairs so they know each other already.

The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?"
