Welcome to Priya, a land ruled in absolution and chained in fear. The people have been tormented as long as they can remember by the monsters from the Moon Cliffs. In more recent years, the High Donna banded the Guardian together to protect herself.
But who protects the people? That duty falls to the Hunters, a band much like the High Donna's Guardians. But they do so much more. They are detectives, assassins, ninjas, and monster-killers. Many people owe them their lives and yearn to become them. But not anyone can be a Hunter...
Andrea originally dreamed to be a Guardian, but when they rejected her the Hunters took her under their wings. As the newest Hunter, she must learn the skills of the Hunters. But with a reluctant teacher, can she master her new life?
