The black cloaked figure looked on in spite and hurt. The youthful male had been trying to woo her and he had, and now he was trying to act like he had made her. With a sigh she closed her eyes and whispered. "I am what you want me to be, but you do not know me." The male gaped in shock for he had not expected this. Suddenly the loneliness of her life crashed down. Quite literally a huge, sleek, gleaming, black raven swooped down from the sky. He stumbled back and a look of hatred crossed his face. "You fowl witch" he screeched. "The Queen Of Ravens. How pitiful!" Her only companion a Raven named Avis. Screeched defensive of her, and he clawed the males face sending him screaming home. "Thank you again Avis..." The raven turned a black, beady eye to her. "I will always protect and love you. I made a promise." With a grin she said. "I thought that there could be no nice raven." He sighed and said "of course there can." Then took off to the sky, and to keep watch. Her little guardian.All Rights Reserved
