I sat alone in the lunchroom, waiting for the period to end. I could feel the loneliness wash over me like a tidal wave. No one noticed me, but of course they wouldn't. I was a new kid that moved here in the middle of the year, while everyone else had their own friends. No one would notice me. But he did. ~~~Plot and characters belong to me, any to real people is coincidental and not I tended to be taken as anything that is on purpose.
