"My wish is for you to live again,Pao."

"But you know that I can't.I can't grant your wish Alice."

"Of course you can,do you trust me?"

I looked at her.Sobrang seryoso niya habang nakatingin sa akin.

Tumango ako,pahiwatig na oo ang sagot ko.Niyakap niya ako ng mahigpit na mahigpit at bumulong sa tenga ko.

"Then trust me if I say you'll live again."

"Alice.."

"I want you to promise me one thing.Pagkatapos nito,gusto kong mabuhay ka ayon sa gusto mo.No regrets,no looking back."

Hindi ako nagsalita.I just nodded and hugged her too like it's my last time to do it.Umiiyak na ako at pinilit kong huwag humagulgol ng iyak dahil ayaw kong mag-alala siya.

"I promise,Alice.I love you."

"I love you too,forever and ever."

And she kissed me softly.I kissed her back and it feels like she's saying something through the kiss.

My chest tightens and I can't breath.She broke the kiss and looked at me,panic is in her eyes.I tried to smile at her and cup her cheeks and brush away the tears streaming down her lovely face.

"I will love you,Alice.'Till my last heart beat."

I slowly closed my eyes as the beeping sounds of different kind of machines echoes in the four corner of the room.Alice's scream pierced right through my ears and she's begging me not to close my eyes.

"Paula!!Pao,please don't leave me.Open your eyes,baby.Please open your eyes.."

Then silence insued..
