There's not much to say about your life besides the fact that it's been planned. From the day you were born, you were given a role to play. Then you were shipped off to a small town called Clarenceville, USA. Which is identical to 900 other Clarencevilles, conducting the same experiment. Now, now, you may think your life is fake. You may think your life is boring and controlled but besides those with starring roles, the others are just robots. You are one of the only things real in that town.

It's your seventeenth birthday, all of you have the same birthday, a quirk in the system. The government has one more year with you and then they must tell you the truth. The Final Year or the seventeenth year is quite typical. The cheerleader becomes pregnant, the druggie commits suicide, the nerd gets accepted to Stanford. It's like a ridiculous 80's movie except it's not, it's your life.

Except with this group they've made an exception, they've inputted a new character, The New Boy who despite they're attempts to control him has his own agenda. To ruin everyone else's Final Year.

No one is safe. One fifteen year old boy knows this better than anyone. He and his older sister lived together, sticking to the dark alleys of their abandoned city, and survived for years after the apocalypse, until the Destroyers came and took her away, reigning terror on the few who remained in the city. The boy, desperate to find someone to help him save his sister, leaves the city and finds one of the youngest cooperative packs in North America, called the Raiders, comprised of unwanted individuals with the strange powers left from the destruction of years past. But there is one class of mutants that nearly everyone can agree on avoiding: Class F. The Freaks. For awkwardly tall and perpetually oblivious homeschooler Noah Kirby, all that exists is his house and the little graveyard on his street in North Carolina. When the opportunity comes along to enroll as a first-year at F Class Academy, an up-and-coming school for the most dangerous mutants of the generation, it means opening his eyes to an entirely new world, one where mutant life isn't as easy as he thought it was. Noah has three goals to ensure his start at FCA goes smoothly: 1. Befriend his moody Ability Management partner Amaris, so that they don't both risk failing the class, 2.
