Pagkapasok ko ng room, sya agad una kong nakita at una kong nakilala. OO, siya nga. Hindi si Karen o si Maui kundi siya. Siguro dahil yun sa tawa nyang nakakaamuse. O baka naman sa ngiti niyang nakakatunaw. O sa mata nyang napakasincere. Pero ba't ganun? 


Pause.

Pagkapasok ko sa theater nakita ko agad siya na nakavarsity jacket. Alam kong siya yun kase wala nang mas gaganda pa sa chinito nyang mga mata. Nakita niya ako tapos nginitian pero di ko na sya nagawang ngitian kase titig na titig ako sa kanya. After all this time, ba't ganun? 


Pause.

Pero tumambad sa mga mata ko yung lalakeng nakahoodies sa park. Mukha kasing nakita ko na siya somewhere before. Siya lang ang may-ari ng nagiisang perfect- shaped jawline na yan. Siya lang yung hindi ngumingiti sa mga nakakatuwang tanawin. At bukod sa akin siya lang yung nag-iisa sa park na yon. Biglang kumabog dibdib ko. Ba't ganun?
