Jake grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes. "I love you." he whispered. I had just rejected him the day before. He had seemed so hurt. 'But this time I'm not rejecting him.' I loved him more than anything in the world, and I tried to deny that last night! I couldn't deny it anymore. "I love you, too." I said. And suddenly his lips met mine for the first time, and the world around us disappeared.
