This story is inspired by Abi_Fanzel's story called Adopted by Hamilton which is an amazing read and I suggest you all read it if you haven't already.
Standing on the edge, wobbling between the matters of life and death is when Mackenzie Grace meets a certain someone willing to help her. As her parents died as a child in a car crash, Mackenzie had been stuck into the foster care program.
With her latest home, the Grace's, being abusive, Mackenzie begins to believe she is worthless and that the world would be better off without her.
A helping hand while on the verge or death may be exactly what Mackenzie needs.
