Harry Styles was born with a bad heart, which has led him to a life on the sidelines, literally and figuratively.
Marley Bishop was born with a perfectly healthy heart, and she's been able to enjoy her life without any restrictions.
Harry's life expectancy isn't very long, and after seventeen years of unsuccessful surgeries and being forced to play it safe, he's ready to die.
Marley wants to live until she's a hundred, and cross off as many things as she can from her bucket list along the way.
It's funny how quickly things can change.
When an unexpected car accident ends up taking Marley's life, Harry is given something that he never thought he would get, his chance at a new one. Marley's heart was a perfect match for Harry, and while he recovers from his life-changing surgery, he discovers that something else comes with that new heart; the ghost of the girl who gave it to him.
Follow the story of two teens, brought together by unusual circumstances, as they work together to figure out how to get one to start living after years of wanting to die, and the other to accept death after being forced to experience it quicker than expected.
